- We use appropriate techniques to protect your personal data
- You have a high degree of control over your personal data

How does InmoLink obtain personal data?
The majority of the personal data we have at our disposal is provided by you as a visitor to InmoLink yourself. This happens, for example, when you create an account, make a request to or for a real estate agent, use another service such as automatic notifications or when you contact InmoLink.
Regarding data we obtain through social media channels of InmoLink that you use yourself, we refer you to the information under "What about social media?
InmoLink also processes automatically generated data, such as the page you visited, your IP address and browser data. This is done using cookies or similar techniques (for more information about this, see our cookie policy).
InmoLink also considers Object Data to be personal data, insofar as they are traceable to an individual. InmoLink obtains this data through the agent who works on behalf of the buyer, seller or tenant.
It is also possible that a friend, family member or other acquaintance provides your email address to InmoLink, so that we can draw your attention to an Object.
How long will personal data be kept?
We only keep your personal data for as long as we need it for the purpose for which we process it or to comply with our legal obligations. We use the following criteria in determining retention periods:
- If you use our services, such as creating an account, we will keep your personal data for as long as we need them to provide and improve that service. Or until the moment you want to remove them (or have them removed).
- If you have given permission to receive e-mails, we will keep your personal data until you withdraw your permission. Once you do so, InmoLink will still keep the personal data necessary to show when you gave permission and when you withdrew it.
- If you decide to leave a realtor review, then InmoLink will display this review on the InmoLink platform for a maximum of 2 years, until you remove it yourself, you instruct InmoLink to do this or until the moment the realtor turns off the possibility of leaving reviews altogether.
- Personal profiles that InmoLink holds on the basis of profiling (see below under "What about profiling?") are kept for a maximum of 13 months.
- We keep financial information such as invoices for as long as we are legally required to do so. In the case of most financial information, this is 7 years.
- We publish object information in principle 1 year after the date on which the object was reported as sold. The broker involved can also indicate earlier to InmoLink that an Object should no longer be published on the InmoLink platform. We retain Object Data for as long as we need them to provide and improve our services.
- If cookies or similar techniques are placed on your computer, we indicate their retention period in our cookie policy.
With whom does InmoLink share personal data?
For the purposes described above (see "Why does InmoLink process data?") we work with third parties. We often share (some of) your personal data with them.
If you leave your details behind on our platform to purchase a particular service, we will share your personal data (if necessary) with the party providing the service, such as a broker or financial service provider. For example, if you contact a broker or request a mortgage quote from a financial service provider via our platform.
We also work, for example, with parties who provide communication for InmoLink and perform monitoring of the platform. Furthermore, we share data with our hosting parties, research and analysis agencies, advertising platforms, the supplier of our data management platform, and (other) processors acting on our behalf.
When third parties advertise on our platform, it is possible that they may collect personal data, such as your click behaviour on the InmoLink platform. For more information about this, see our cookie policy.
Of course, InmoLink publishes property details on the InmoLink platform, making them visible to everyone who visits the InmoLink platform. In addition, InmoLink sends out Object Information to a visitor via e-mail or push notification if they match his/her search criteria. We also share Object Information via our social media channels. A visitor also has the option to share Objects with others via the InmoLink platform on social media or via email.
Also, brokers can choose to show broker reviews that you post on the InmoLink platform using an Iframe on their website.
Should it happen that (one or more parts of) the company of InmoLink are transferred to a third party, then as part of this transfer the personal data processed by InmoLink may also be transferred to this third party. If this situation occurs, InmoLink will inform you in a timely manner via the InmoLink platform.
International transfer of personal data
InmoLink is an EU company, as are many of the parties we work with. To the extent that the third parties we work with process personal data at a location outside the EEA, they do so in compliance with appropriate safeguards, such as model contractual clauses established by the European Commission and other safeguards.
How does InmoLink secure personal data?
To prevent anyone else from unlawfully using or processing your personal data, we have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures. Among other things, we use physical (access) security, passwords, encryption of passwords, bot detection, encryption (of storage and communication channels) and pseudonymisation of data. We take these measures partly on the basis of our security policy, which we regularly evaluate and adjust as necessary.
What about social media?
InmoLink does not include social media functionalities, such as like buttons or pixels, on the InmoLink platform. We do have our own profiles on social media channels such as Instagram, YouTube and Facebook and link to them on the InmoLink platform. For the processing of personal data that InmoLink obtains through a social media channel, this privacy statement of InmoLink applies. For all information that the social media channel obtains from you, the privacy statement of this social media channel also applies. You can find it here:
- Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/explanation/
- YouTube: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=nl
- Instagram: https://help.instagram.com/155833707900388
You can also log into InmoLink with a social media profile, for example via Facebook. Facebook then provides InmoLink with your public profile and email address. InmoLink only stores your email address.
If you share an Object from the InmoLink platform via a social media channel, InmoLink only forwards the information of the Object to the concerning social media channel. Also, InmoLink may post Object information on InmoLink social media channels.
What about iFrames and other third party websites?
On the InmoLink platform, services and information are also offered by third parties in a so-called iFrame. These pages seem to run within the InmoLink platform, but the content of an iFrame is not managed by InmoLink, but is from the third party offering you services or information in the iFrame. An example is the monthly burden indicator, which allows you to calculate what your estimated mortgage burden would be if you were to buy a certain Object. The personal data you enter in the iFrame will directly reach the third party, and therefore the privacy and cookie policy of that third party will apply. InmoLink does not process these personal data itself. If there is an iFrame, we indicate this clearly on our platform.
Also if on the InmoLink platform a link is shown to the website of another party (such as a real estate agent), or if there is a link to the website of another party, then your visit to that website is subject to the privacy and cookie policy of that party. The privacy policy of InmoLink does not apply to the data you leave behind and/or are processed there.
What about profiling?
Profiling, in short, is the collection of characteristics, interests and data from you as a visitor. Based on this, a profile is created so that you can receive targeted and relevant information. InmoLink does this based on data we generate using cookies and similar techniques (see our cookie policy), combined with other personal data, such as your surfing and clicking behaviour, what you enter in your account, what you enter when you use our products and services, which Objects you view and what you search for.
InmoLink only uses profiling to personalise information and to show you relevant mailings and advertisements. No Objects or other content is withheld from you based on our profiling.
What are your rights?
You are in control of your personal data. You have the right to clear, transparent and understandable information. You can always review, modify or remove the personal data that you have entered via your account. In addition, you can contact us to view your personal data processed by InmoLink free of charge. You can also request InmoLink to change or remove your personal data. We may also transfer personal data under certain circumstances. In addition, you can request us to limit the processing of your personal data.
Insofar as we use your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests, you can always object to this.
Where we use your personal data on the basis of your consent, then you can withdraw your consent at any time. For example, if you have subscribed to an InmoLink newsletter and no longer wish to receive it, you can always unsubscribe (and thus withdraw your consent) by clicking on 'unsubscribe' in a newsletter. You can also unsubscribe via your account.
You can easily remove or block cookies and similar technologies yourself. See our cookie policy for more information.
If you make a request relating to how we handle your personal data, we may ask you to identify yourself if necessary.
